Climbing guidebook Steinberge - Loferer und Leoganger

For 30 years, the friends of the Loferer and Leoganger Steinberge had to wait for their own climbing guide for this small but fine area, now it's that time again: Adi Stocker describes all the relevant climbing routes between Fieberbrunn and Lofer on 600 pages. The division is based on starting points in the valley - Ortisei am Pillersee, Waidring, Lofer, St.Martin, Weißbach and Leogang. Adi's special focus is on the two Alpine Club huts in the respective mountain range, the “Von Schmidt-Zabierow Hut” in the Loferer Steinberge and the “Passauer Hütte” in the Leoganger Steinberge. Both excellent starting points for climbers. Over 400 climbing routes are presented in meticulously drawn topos. The proven system of detailed murals in combination with meticulous route and approach descriptions has been further refined. A brief outline of the climbing history, the introduction of the most important protagonists of the area and previous episodes round off the descriptions and make the guide an opulent, valuable reading book. Last but not least, the PVC protective cover contains a detailed overview map of the entire area with all the necessary information - as it should be, printed on tear- and waterproof paper for tough use.
