High above Baden-Baden is one of the most bizarre and peculiar rock landscapes in Germany: the Battert. In a confined space there are around 400 climbing routes in a beautiful landscape exposure. In this unique area, climbers and hikers will find a real small mountain range of rock formations and towers, which reminds the Elbsandstein mountains with a wink of the know-how.
This is a bit different than in the mainstream drilling hooks. This is a bit different than the mainstream drilling hooks. But that is exactly what makes the battery so attractive, and that is why he has a strong and loyal fan base. At last we have a magnificent picture-book about this magical region. In addition to a large number of excellent, partly double-sided color pictures, there is much information about the geology and the natural space of the battery as well as an extensive demolition of the climbing history.
And that is not poor in Higlights: Martin Schliessler, Reinhard Karl, Bernd Kullmann and many other well-known climbers put their hand on the rock here and left their traces as a first-time visitor. In short, this book is a must for all Battert fans - by the way not only for climbers.
