The 700 cuin down is protected by a DRILITE® Loft 40 D waterproof membrane, so wet snow or drizzle doesn't stand a chance. DRILITE® Loft 40D is a strong and lightweight waterproof surface material with PU coating. It is highly breathable and water and wind resistant. It also has a DWR water repellent treatment on the surface, which further helps the down to stay dry even in wet conditions. This protects the down from getting wet and therefore from losing its thermal insulation properties. Thanks to its waterproofness and low weight, the down retains a high loft for maximum thermal insulation in all conditions. Sourced from China, the high quality duck feathers contain a minimum of 90% down, have a minimum down fill of 700 cuin and meet the ethical DOWN CODEX®. The feathers are gently cleaned with water without chemical treatment. This destroys dust mites and their habitat, which is appreciated by allergy sufferers. The feathers retain their important grease and loft, are easy to pack, highly insulated and light weight.
