CAMP Safety DRUID PRO is a light and compact abseil brake with automatic locking for work at heights and rescue services. The brake is designed for static ropes with a diameter of 9.9 - 11 mm. Druid PRO is designed exclusively for experienced users, it is intentionally not equipped with an "anti-panic" function! The body and lever are made of solid forged aluminum alloy. The moving parts are made of precisely cast stainless steel. The arrangement of the internal mechanism with a cam is patented and offers very fine control of the rope together with a gentle slip in the event of a fall, thus saving the rope and thus increasing its life. The feeding of the rope when securing the exit is facilitated by a protrusion for the right index finger, located on the moving part of the cam at the securing eye. All you have to do is open the cam with your index finger and quickly feed a longer piece of gathered rope. In the event of an accidental fall into the cam thus released, the circuit breaker has no chance of keeping the cam released with one finger, the cam retracts immediately when the rope is tensioned and prevents it from slipping. The steel eye is used to attach the abseil brake to a fixed point and thus prevent it from falling to the ground.
