Climbing guidebook Valchiavenna Rock

All the rocks in the area from Valchiavenna to Engadin: more than seventy places for  offering climbing suggestions for any level and any season.

The area has been experiencing a renaissance in the last 15 years. Many new routes were riveted and new walls were cleared, such as Uschione, just above Chiavenna, where there was a dramatic increase in the number of routes, including multi-length ones, as high up in the upper valley walls, as well as on the valley floor, such as the beautiful and sunny Parete di Strem in Val Bodengo, featuring historic routes climbed since 2000 by dedicated climbers such as Paolo Cogliati and Nicola Noe.

The area is characterized by significant historical and natural attractions; its location along the Maloja and Spluga passes guarantees an excellent tourist background.
