La Pietra, as it is informally called by long-time visitors, is an area so out of time and space that it inspired Dante Alighieri to describe his Mount Purgatory .

In this volume, now in its second edition, the authors describe multi-length pathways and walls with up-to-date information, clear and precise drawings, and spectacular photographs of the various sectors. The rare and essential contribution of all local alpinists of different generations made possible the creation of a reference guide to the climbing history of Pietra through narratives and personal stories.

This detail, which is not present in the first edition, is enriched by a series of spectacular images taken from a drone, which not only fascinate the reader, but greatly simplify orientation around this magnificent monolith.
