Almost 300 new lines climbed during the last three years are one of the main reasons that led to the publication of this fifth edition.
It is another confirmation that this beautiful alpine valley is an inexhaustible resource for boulderers and that the potential is far from exhausted. This new release of Mello Boulder features new videos (almost 300) that include boulders of varying difficulty. Use QR codes and a simple app that can be downloaded for free on all smartphones. All you need is an internet connection.
The guide is aimed at a diverse bouldering community: including those who want to try more famous and harder lines, but especially for those who like bouldering and enjoy movements in the magical context of the valley.
Andrea Pavan grew up in Como, lives in the town of Sondrio, where he works as a geologist. In 2003 he became a member of Ragni di Lecco. After his first mountaineering experiences (alpinism, ski tours and ice climbing), he began to concentrate on climbing from 1996. At first he concentrated on multi-lengths around the Alps (especially in the Masino area), but also in Peru and Morocco. He is also involved in sport climbing and has climbed and drilled many new routes. However, his great passion has always been bouldering. He cleaned and created a number of new lines, including the most difficult ones, both in the Masino area and in other bouldering places spread throughout the province of Sondrio (Selvapiana, Dazio, Val di Togno, Val Gerola, etc.) and also during trips to Morocco and Turkey in the company of his friends.
