AQUASURE+SR is a polyurethane based adhesive/sealant for repairing footwear and heavy duty canvas. It has the highest viscosity of the SEAM GRIP / AQUASURE group, creating a thicker layer of PU rubber that is self-supporting, flexible and pliable. The adhesive is perfectly waterproof. It enables patchless bonding, butt bonding and also reconstruction of missing material. It allows the reconstruction of the trampled rubber tread of the shoe and by saturating the surface of the uncured adhesive with a water-soluble crystalline material (e.g. salt, sugar, etc.) an anti-slip relief can be created. Directions for use: Apply directly from the tube, set in 4 hours, polymerize to full structural strength in 24-36 hours. COTOL 240 or COTOL 240 HV can be used as accelerator.
